Holy crap. It's been ages. I've been so busy I almost forgot I had a dA account here. D: It's mostly because now I work full-time, but I have been drawing some. (Most of my creative free time goes into writing my stories.) Lately I've been noticing my art style has taken a turn towards a more realistic approach, but I've got a long way to go. I've been stuck on one image for the past two months because I don't quite know how to finish the background. It's very plain, but I wonder if I should leave it as is. I'll most likely keep debating with myself until I either finish it or give up on the background. In either case, I'll post it to dA after it's done.

Hm, what else? How is everyone else doing? I've completely missed everyone else's deviations, but I just can't find the will power to sift through 3,000+ deviations. I hope everyone is doing well. My friends and are going to Animexpo. Sadly, I'll be working, so I won't be going. Those of you going to Animexpo might see cosplaying with his friends as RO characters. As far as cosplaying goes, I think he's one of the better ones because he puts in a lot of time and effort into creating costumes. (You can see an example of his Gungrave costume on his account.) I personally can't wait to see the results.

There's not much else to say I suppose. Been playing D&D and Plants vs. Zombies in my spare time, but I'm also waiting for BlazBlue (made by the people who did Guilty Gear) to be shipped to me. Looks amazing, even though I suck at fighting games. But the pre-order deal comes with the full OST and I love Daisuke Ishiwatari's work.

Aside from that, I've pretty much given up TV, except Big Bang Theory and Burn Notice. The former being hilarious and the latter being an amazing show. I always felt that's what James Bond should have been about. He relies too much on what brilliant inventors give him to get out of situations. Not Michael Westen. He just relies on his own abilities to get out of situations. I love how he can impersonate almost anyone at a moment's notice.

As for anime, I've pretty much had no time for that either. I've been keeping up with a few manga. Mostly Eyeshield 21 (which finished~!) and Fairy Tail. The former making me quite happy. The fact it finished is bittersweet. On one hand, I'd love to see more, but on the other, it means resolution. We don't have to do this endless waltz of filler arcs after filler arcs. In lieu of anime though, I've been feeling nostalgia, so I've been watching Batman Beyond. Probably my favorite animated series growing up. I've forgotten just how f-ed up some of episodes were (in terms of a "children's show").
